‘Falling in Love’ with 2NE1 all over again

Two years have passed since 2NE1 has released their last album and finally, their first single off their highly-anticipated new album has arrived.

Falling in Love finds back the same old fierce girls of 2NE1 back with an addictive chorus & colorful melody over reggae beat which makes it for a perfect summer anthem.

The new single has reached #1 on all 9 of Korea’s real-time music charts and was ranked #1 on iTunes top single charts in 9 different countries, including Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. The colorful and vibrant music video has already accumulated 3 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours after its release.

Falling in Love is just the first of many singles off the new album as 2NE1 prepares to release a single and accompanying music video once a month, on every month, until the album is released in October. In all, 2NE1 plans to promote at least four all new tracks from the upcoming album, rewarding all their fans for the patient wait.

In just four short years, 2NE1 is able to change the face of K-Pop with their original approach to music, dance and fashion. Their previous hit songs I Don’t Care, Go Away, and I Am The Best reflect the strong, independent, and confident women who they are, an image and sound that have attracted music industry super-fans, such as will.i.am and Diplo.

After watching 2NE1’s music video for I Am The Best, which has since racked up over 70+ million views on YouTube, they had Perez Hilton asking, “Why can’t we have girl groups this hot in America???”
