That's the latest photo update of 2NE1's Sandara Park. On the photo, she wore a military type apparel and tweeted, "Corporal Sandara Park! Going to Hong Kong to perform. Reporting for duty! Salute!!! I will return safely!!"
Speaking of 'returning', there's a famous Filipino quote, "Ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay hindi makararating sa paroroonan." (He who doesn't know to look back at the origin will not reach the destination). It implies that whatever you have accomplished in your life right now, learn to go back where you started.
Indeed, the simple and eager Sandara Park who started her showbiz career in the Philippines, particularly on ABS-CBN 'Kapamilya' Network at its Star Circle Quest show way back in 2004, has accomplished her reason why she auditioned at the contest.
Sandara was asked by one of the judges, Laurenti Dyogi, "Bakit gustung-gusto mong maging artista? (Why do you like to be an actress so much?)". She answered, "Gusto ko pong maging popular at I want to have fans." (watch below)

Sandara is really popular now just like what she wanted to be when she was 19 years old. She is part of the famous 2NE1, has lots of supporters and projects, and has more than one million twitter followers, but she always gives glory to the network that gave her the break. This year, ABS-CBN is celebrating its 60 years.
ABS-CBN Kapamilya tweeted Sandara and her former love team partner, Hero Angeles, to thank them for being a Kapamilya.
The 'Pambansang Krung Krung ng Pilipinas' (The national insane of the Philippines) replied, "Happy 60 years Kapamilya! :) #Kapamilya60years I'm still a Kapamilya~!!!"
ABS-CBN Kapamiya thanked Sandara who is called as 'Sandy' by the Filipinos.
