A donation website, Goodway With Us, announced that BIGBANG and 2NE1 have joined a campaign to build schools in isolated cities of Nepal. The members have signed up as mentors for the Nepal Hope School Project. The project is run by teenagers who have been donating funds for other neglected children. They signed CDs and shirts to be distributed to supporters who donate for the cause. A rep from Goodway With Us said, “We believe the way BIGBANG and 2NE1 have shown support for and interest in donating for the needy will set a great example for teenage fans everywhere.”
An official from YG Entertainment said in return, “We′ve come all this way thanks to the love of many people, so we′ve decided to start off the new year by sharing. We hope many people join in to add more meaning to the act.”
This is a pretty great way for these bands to spread their positive influence, don’t you think?
