2NE1 is set to appear on ‘Music Bank’ for the first time in three years with their new song, ‘Do You Love Me’ in September

It seems as if the hot, hot summer is finally melting the glacier that stood between YG and KBS.

YG Entertainment announced that on August 9 2NE1, solo artist Kang Seung Yoon, and other YG artists will appear on KBS ‘Music Bank.’ Especially excited to see these performers are the fans that love both parties.

2NE1 will be releasing their new song ‘Do You Love Me’ live on ‘Music Bank.’ When one considers that YG has not had any of its members star on KBS, this is an unexpected but welcome surprise.

The last time 2NE1 was featured on ‘Music Bank’ was in October of 2010 with ‘Clap Your Hands,’ ‘Can’t Nobody,’ ‘Go Away,’ three huge hits that swept the fans away. And so 2NE1 is returning to the show in three years and greeting its fans.

On the same day, YG’s rookie solo artist Kang Seung Yoon is scheduled to appear, and is gaining much interest. It’s amazing also that MNet ‘Superstar K2′ born audition star will be staring on KBS ‘Music Bank.’ Kang Seung Yoon released his debut song ‘It Rains’ in July, and is on his way to sweeping the charts.

To follow 2NE1′s ‘Falling in Love,’ they are releasing their second new song ‘Do You Love Me,’ which was written by YG’s main producer Teddy, and the tune is said to be just the perfect song to pass by the hot summer days.

2NE1 has also been gaining much interest among its fans with the teaser music video that was released on YG’s official website. In their music video for ‘Do You Love Me,’ the members of 2NE1 are seen dancing around comically in the bathroom. YG’s Yang Hyun Suk announced that this music video will be in the style of a homemade video.

2NE1′s new song ‘Do You Love Me’ will be released on various online music sites on August 7.
